On the 26th of September two MEGA members attended the festival Civic Fest, which was a great experience due to the opportunity to interact with members of different NGOs.
The festival took place in a picturesque landscape – Orheiul Vechi (Old Orhei). We were happy to promote the MEGA Impact 2015 Championship, an initiative that our team has launched this month. We presented the activities we had done so far and our future plans. Our tent was always full of people, and all of them were interested in the solutions we offer to water issues.
We got to know other environmental enthusiasts like us, learned about their projects, came up with suggestions and possible partnerships, and learned much more about water issues in different regions.
Besides the official part, we discovered the beauty of Orheiul Vechi!
We are grateful to the organizers for this opportunity and for organizing the festival at a high level!
MEGA Impact 2015 Championship is organized as part of the project “MEGA Game: Strengthening Environmental Governance in Moldova through Innovative E-learning and Collaboration Platform for Environmental Action” is supported by the program “Strengthening Environmental Governance by Building the Capacity Of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)”, funded by the European Union, Implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and delivered by the GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP).
